NAME CHANGE - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why did Scott Credit Union change it's name?
Scott Credit Union changed it's name to better reflect the members we can now represent. By embracing change, New Horizons Credit union will grow and prosper and develop into an even stronger financial institution for it present and future members.
Was Scott Credit Union bought out or did they merge with another credit union?
NO! Since you, as a member, own the credit union, we cannot be sold. All that has changed is the name and logo.
Will my checks, ATM and check card, VISA, etc., still work with Scott Credit Union information on them?
Yes! Your account numbers, PIN numbers and credit union services will remain the same and will function as they always have.
Please continue to use your existing checks until you need a new order. At that time, when you reorder with us, you will receive new checks with the New Horizons Credit Union name.
Credit cards and check cards will continue to function normally until you receive a replacement card with the new name and logo. The cards will be replaced according to the reissue date printed on each credit or check card.
Do I need to change anything to ensure my direct deposit, bill pay, payroll deduction, etc., will still be in effect?
No, the system still recognizes the account number and transaction numbers within the system and will not be affected by the name change. |
